Those attending a youth session (Young Church [formerly Sunday School] or Youth Group, etc) for the first time in the 2022-23 school year should fill-out and hand-in the Youth Activities consent form which can be downloaded by clicking on the link below

Worship
Our All-Age Worship on Sunday mornings at 9.30am is designed especially with families in mind, from young children through to adults. This allows all to leave feeling that they have experienced something valuable, achieved through the informal worship pattern and age-appropriate Sunday School lessons and activities.
YOUTH PROGRAMMING P6-S6
Youth Group (the MSYG) (P6-S6) - Sundays 6:15 - 8:30 PM (P6-S1 from 6:15-7;15pm; S2-S6 from 7:15-8:30pm) in the Youth Room (location and times may vary)
Each month of the MSYG has a weekly rotation of Social, Service and Discussion nights. There will always be snacks (and sometimes dinner!) Each night will start off with 10 minutes of free time.
Social: On social nights there will be an activity (i.e. bonfire, quiz night, sport, game tournament, holiday parties, etc.) focused on having some time together to chill and chat. We will occaionally have a group outing, too (ie. 10-pin bowling, escape rooms, cinema).
Service: On service nights we will focus on both local, and international service projects and organisations either with guest speakers, or by getting engaged in the work as a group. Some of these organisations includes Amnesty International, Edinburgh NW food bank, Bethany Christian Trust, etc.
Discussion: On these evenings, we will either have a topic for discussion in relation to our faith, or a 'Question Time' evening with special guests. Youth will be able to submit questions before the evening for an engaged conversation. In the past we have covered topics such as evolution and creation, the Bible, climate change, and the LGBTQ+ community in relation to Christianity.
Youth Worship Night (All Ages) - Last Sunday evening of every month - 7:00 pm
Contemporary style worship for the young and the young at heart; time spent in reflection through prayer, the word and music.

Breakfast Club (12-16+) - Twice a month during the 9:30 service
The Breakfast Club will meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month (unless otherwise noted) during the 9:30 service* for 12-16+. The Breakfast Club is an extended time for the teenagers to engage in discussion over breakfast!
*Please note that some Sundays we may be having a joint service at 10:30am

Social Outings and Special Events
Throughout the week our young people attend a wide variety of schools, so Sunday may be the only chance they see each other regularly. Social activities encourage them to get to know each other better, and build friendships. We also have the occasional special event and youth fundraiser.

Our Youth Instagram Prayer Space, 'Time Out Tuesdays,' will be happening weekly each Tuesday. It will be live on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:40am before school, and pre-recorded and posted every other week. Every week will be a little bit different, but it will be a chance for mindfulness, prayer and spiritual reflection together.
S2-S6 Book Group: Occasionally we have a book group for our S2-S6 group to join in!
